COMPANY: EB DESIGN | DESIGN BY BULLI & LAURA IVAN
This project required a high level of technical problem-solving to balance design intent with functionality. The stone and wood elements featured intricate, elegant details that demanded careful engineering to preserve the design while ensuring each piece served its purpose and maintained structural integrity. In addition, the custom brass hardware and architectural elements were highly detailed and required extensive machining, with hidden fastening methods since the client did not want any visible welds or fasteners. My role included managing a team that brought all of these elements to life — from field measuring and digitizing, to meeting with the architect and design team, value engineering, planning fabrication and installation methods, and creating all the shop drawings needed to facilitate production.
